We can generate CAD, with engineering data supplied as a spreadsheet, so you can ensure that all aspects of the design meet with your approval at every stage.

Instrumentation

You can also rely on our technical support for all aspects of measurement systems in industry, including flow, pressure and temperature. You can have on-line analysis systems for the measurement of gases. Lyjon also cover safety instrumentation systems incorporating IEC 61508 concepts.

For added peace of mind we can also offer a 24 hour call out system, fire alarm maintenance, emergency light maintenance packages and full motor maintenance.

Electrical design

Our design and technical support services are relevant to all aspects of electrical systems in industry. We can plan systems up to 415v ac for motor starters, lighting, heating, and power tools and our planning service also extends to motor controls for conveyors, pumping schemes, packaging and so on.

We can also design lighting schemes and specialise in power tool and welding socket supplies, as well as trace heating for frost protection and/or process heating, including Zone 1 & 2 installations.

Our electrical and instrumentation division is also available for consultancy for safety requirements to meet BS7601 PUWER and Potentially Explosive Atmospheres IEC 61508. We can also undertake Risk Assessments using HAZOP techniques, risk reduction methods and analysis of safety integrity levels (SIL).

Should you require management of SIS to meet lifetime safety, we can carry out function testing, design change control, maintenance and record keeping. We can also advise you on control systems, including stand-alone pneumatic / electronic, PLC, SCADA and DCS.

You can also utilise our expertise in providing I & E multi-skill training to various competence levels and take advantage of our advice on maintenance concepts including condition monitoring and scheduled maintenance that is time or history based.
